Enrique Ortiz gestoßen. In seinen Blogbeiträgen People-centric Mobile Computing und The Elements of Mobile Context beschreibt er seine Sicht auf den mobilen Kontext und definiert sieben Elemente, die Mobile Context beschreiben: Location & Surroundings, Time, Descriptor Tags, Social Context, Handset Capabilities, Presence & Status und Preferences.

The Mobile Context and People-centric Mobile Computing: An Introduction to the mobile context and mobile social software, which explores the topics of the mobile context and its role on what I referred to as People-centric mobile computing.

Seiner Definition nach versteht man unter Mobile Context

“the set of and the intersection between facts, events, circumstances, and information that surrounds the (mobile) user at a given point in time.”

Der Vortrag trägt den Titel “ripcord: Prototyping und Usability-Testing im nativen Benutzungskontext”.

Auch Philipp Murkowsky war dort und berichtet in seinem Beitrag “Mensch & Computer 2008 – der dritte Tag” über diese Session.
